What is LED light therapy?
LED light uses specific wavelengths of visible light as part of a skincare routine. It has been used in professional spa settings for years, and at-home devices make it possible to build the same kind of ritual into your week. Our devices are cosmetic skincare tools, a step in your routine alongside your cleanser and moisturizer.
Which GlowGirls device is right for me?
New to LED? Start with the Mini Glow LED Mask. Want the full cordless experience? Choose the 7-Color LED Face Mask Pro. Want face and neck in one? Try the Glow Lite. Add the Neck & Jawline Glow Device to care for the area most routines skip.
How often should I use my LED mask?
We recommend three to five sessions a week to start, then settling into whatever rhythm fits your routine. Consistency matters more than frequency.
How long does a session take?
About ten minutes. Most of our masks run on an automatic timer and switch themselves off, so you don't need to watch the clock.
Can I use the mask with my skincare routine?
Yes, and we encourage it. Use it on clean, dry skin after cleansing, then follow with serums and moisturizer. Applying products underneath can stop the light reaching your skin properly, so save them for afterwards.
Is it safe to use around my eyes?
Keep your eyes closed during a session. If you have any eye condition or light sensitivity, or you take any medication that increases photosensitivity, please check with your doctor first.
Who should not use these devices?
If you are pregnant, have a history of seizures triggered by light, take photosensitizing medication, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have an active skin condition being treated by a professional, please speak to your doctor or dermatologist before use.
Do these devices treat skin conditions?
No. GlowGirls devices are cosmetic tools designed to help your skin look its best. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Care and charging
How do I clean my device?
Wipe the inner surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each use, then let it air dry completely before storing. Do not submerge the device, and avoid alcohol wipes or abrasive cleaners, which damage the finish over time.
How do I charge it?
Use the included cable. Charging time and sessions per charge vary by device, so check the user manual in your box for the exact figures.
